Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote form only needs gender, birth date, what your health is like, tobacco use, how much coverage you need, and how long you want it. Those six facts are sufficient for the carriers to give you rates. Your name, where you live, and health specifics only get collected if you proceed to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They are the rates each carrier quotes back for the class level you picked. The carrier's final premium is determined through underwriting and might be confirmed, go up, or go down compared to your class. Nothing shown here is an insurance offer or a price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name, and the application is set up from the exact quote you chose, then continues in the carriers' secure portal. You are able to leave and return later, and you can sign your name electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance agency (License 0B75129), runs the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
It hinges on the insurer, the amount you want, and your particular answers. Carriers with immediate-decision plans can approve applicants on the spot; every quote on this site will say whether the issuer will require a test, might require one, or can proceed without one.
Is a longer term better?
A term should pay for the years when your dependents would suffer if your income went away: a mortgage, kids at home, money you borrowed. Longer periods cost more per month but hold the rate steady for longer. The quote tool lets you see rates for ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five, and thirty year periods side by side.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool does not collect your contact details, we do not sell or distribute your data, and our analytics are cookieless. Turn to the privacy page for a full breakdown of what gets recorded and by whom.
